Our modular Stellar & Decora tiles (47″ × 28″) piece together like a puzzle. A standard roof fits on a single pallet, with everything needed for a complete installation. At a third of the weight of asphalt shingles, it can be tackled by anyone with basic DIY skills, over existing shingles, plywood or strapping.

No. The modular tile system and the ASV ventilation space between the steel panel and the underlay reduce exterior noise, even in a heavy rainstorm. Properly installed, metal can be quieter than asphalt shingles.
For decades. Rudan tile has been field-tested for fire, freeze/thaw and earthquake resistance, and it withstands gale-force winds, humidity, heat, rain and hail.
The 275 g/m² zinc coating provides superior corrosion resistance, and our substrates are coated by world-renowned suppliers such as SSAB, Marcegaglia and ArcelorMittal. Fading has not been a problem across our product history.
Yes. When installed to the required standards, Rudan tile roofs carry a lifetime warranty, with a 55-year material warranty certificate.
Yes. Roofers can walk freely over Rudan tile during and after installation. Just place your foot on the flat section of the tile.
Steel roofing is classified as a non-combustible Class A roofing material, one of the most fire-resistant options available.
Yes. Wait for two good rainfalls after installation, then collect. Unlike asphalt shingles, steel doesn't leach chemicals into the runoff.
In most cases, yes. Trapeze and our modular tiles install over existing shingles, ½″ plywood or 1″×3″ horizontal and 1″×2″ vertical strapping. Always check your local building codes.
